So after a beautiful and rather chilled out Cornbury Festival we set off for Tropical Pressure in Cornwall. Unfortunately while driving and happily playing eye spy with Rosie my rear wheel literally flew off the van. I never want that to happen again...frightening is an understatement! Driving at 50 mph on a dual carriageway and with a child. With the help and support of close friends the van was fixed and I managed to set up last minute at Tropical Pressure in Porthtowan, Cornwall. A beautiful festival and so happy to be a part of it. The weather was hot hot hot and the sunsets were spectacular. After pack down it was a relaxed afternoon on the beach with Rosie and proper job Cornish ice-creams.
Then it was straight on to Buddahfields in Devon. Back to back festivals is hard work. Pack down one then straight into a set up on another...it's pretty exhausting! Buddahfields is off grid with either no or hardly any signal. Not a bad thing! Rosie and I were there for a week and we had a great camp set up and caught up with good friends. Business was great just a shame that some folk think it's ok to steal. More robberies there than anywhere I have been so far. The hippy buddah vibe was totally lacking and I do believe in karma...hope they get theirs.
On a good note we are now home and rested. Manic day ahead now getting organised and sorted before heading to WOMAD in the morning ❤
